Anwar Ibrahim and his so called conspiracy theory

I had once tried to pen down my thoughts about Anwar Ibrahim and his conspiracy theory on The Star's citizen blog.

And I was shot down when that particular blog was deleted by the administrator. So, I am wondering, why is it that any blog that condemns Anwar Ibrahim is being deleted?

Anwar Ibrahim had been crying out wolf ever since the 1998 sodomy allegation. Now, he is using the same reason.

If it is not true, would the same accusation crops up again?

Birds of a feather flock together. Is that why USA is so adamant in defending Anwar Ibrahim in his latest sodomy allegation by his former assistant, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.

Mohd Saiful Bukhari is also willing to swear (mubahalah) but Anwar Ibrahim seems reluctant to do so.

And why is it that Anwar is unwilling to give his DNA to be taken? Nobody have the same identical DNA unless if you are a twin.

And our Intelligence is not that dumb that they don't have the solid evidence of Anwar's involvement with the country that seems so excited to defend him

The same country who attacked Iraq with the reason of Iraq possessing WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION to justify their attacks.

Where is the so called WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION now? Even the United Nations cannot find any sign of it.

The President of the USA should be trialled as a war criminal for manipulating that evidence to justify their attacks on Iraq.

And what justification for going to war with Vietnam and Afganistan at one point of a time?

USA is so arrogant that they think they can do anything. Who do they think they are, the policemen of the world?

Arrogance comes before a fall. And it won't be long.

Mahathir: I will respond in due time

Mahathir: I will respond in due time

PETALING JAYA: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad says he will refrain from commenting on the revelations made by High Court judge Justice Datuk Ian Chin for now.

He said in his blog that he would do so “in due time”.

“However, I am quite curious about what Ian Chin considers as veiled threats. Perhaps he could be more specific, as his allegations are very serious,” Dr Mahathir said.

Meanwhile, Gerakan vice-president Datuk Dr S. Vijayaratnam said judges should emulate Justice Chin’s recent action should the situation demand.

He said Justice Chin’s actions demonstrated the integrity of the judiciary system.

“Let us hope that this is the start of a more transparent, independent and impartial Malaysian Judiciary,” Vijayaratnam said in a statement.

UN special rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers Datuk Param Cumaraswamy said other judges who could have faced intimidation should also speak up.

Those who received undeserved promotions, he added, should resign.

“Since 1988, judges have been in a state of intimidation. In other democratic systems, the intimidator would have been impeached and removed,” he said in a statement.

Param said there were still a few judges who received “leapfrog promotions” and they should be ashamed of themselves.

“Their continuing to remain in the system tarnishes the integrity of the judiciary,” he said.

Meanwhile, DAP chairman Karpal Singh lodged a police report at the Dang Wangi police station yesterday against Dr Mahathir over what he said were allegations of him threatening judges.

The Star, 12 June 2008

What about the live bullet sent to Karpal Singh? If the police could not find any proof of who did it, maybe Karpal himself did it?

Maybe someone should lodge a police report against Karpal Singh for making a false report?

Dr M: Take steps to lessen burden

KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said steps should be taken to lessen the burden of the people due to the hike in the price of fuel.

He said Malaysia could not avoid the negative effects of the worldwide increase in fuel prices but there must be ways to mitigate them.

"I am sure the government will not just pass down all these problems to the people as the review of oil prices every month seems to suggest," he said yesterday in his blog www. chedet.com.

The restructuring of fuel subsidies announced on Wed-nesday involved capping the government's cost to about 30 sen per litre of petrol, a move advocated by economists to prevent the budget from sliding out of control.

The pump price would be adjusted monthly according to world prices after subtracting the fixed subsidy.

Dr Mahathir said the price of crude oil had increased by 400 per cent in the last three years and that prices of other products would go up soon. "I believe the people expect the increase in the price of petrol. But what they are angry about is the quantum and the suddenness."

Asia should liberate itself from Western mental hegemony and support us

SPEECH BY
TUN DR MAHATHIR BIN MOHAMAD
AT THE JAPAN FOREIGN CORRESPONDENTS’ CLUB
IN TOKYO, JAPAN
ON FRIDAY, 23 MAY 2008
——————

1.I would like to thank you for this invitation to speak on the role of Malaysia and Asia on international affairs involving politics, economic and the environment.

2. By itself I do not think Malaysia can do much. But Asia is perhaps more able to contribute to these fields.

3. Asia is not homogenous like Europe. The people of Asia range from dark-skinned people to brown skinned to yellow and to white Caucasians. It is not possible for all these different people inhabiting different parts of Asia to collaborate in voicing identical views on anything. It is not possible at this point in time to think of an Asian Union with the same clout as the European Union.

4. Obviously Asia’s contribution would differ greatly between the ethnic and the regional groupings. This will render Asia less able to influence international affairs.

5. However certain parts and certain countries of Asia, particularly those in the East and India have gained a level of development, which would make their voices heard and respected by the rest of the world. They would therefore be able to play a role in international affairs.

6. Unfortunately they are not doing so. They are very reticent and unwilling to take a prominent role. This is because Asians have not got over their having been dominated in the past by the West.

7. Because of this Asia is always trying to understand and accommodate Western ideas and creeds. Asia has tried to adopt European ideologies, European systems of Government, European perceptions of things and values, European regimes for trade and finance etc. etc.

8. There has never been an Asian initiative for the world in any field. When globalisation was promoted by the West, Asians merely try to adjust to a new concept of international relations, particularly in trade, commerce and finance. Asians failed to recognise the inevitability of a New World Order resulting from the advances in speed of travel and instant communication and so to propose new regimes for the world.

9. If Asia wants to play a role in international affairs it must first liberate its minds from Western mental hegemony. This must be through deliberate effort. Asians can fall back on their greatness in the past and learn how to reassert themselves. After all Asians discovered Europe before the Europeans discovered Asia. Spain, the Mediterranean lands and Eastern Europe were ruled for centuries by Asians. So Asian involvement in international affairs is not new.

10. Asian countries have shown that when they have the political will they can excel in all the activities once dominated by the Europeans. Asian countries have now become developed, have been able to set up effective governments and have replaced the European countries in the production of all kinds of goods and services.

11. Many have now developed inventive skills and introduced new products to the world.

12. But Asians have shied away from formulating new ideas and ideologies, new systems and new trading and financial regimes for the world. Yet I am quite sure that if Asians put their minds to it they can offer better solutions to international problems.

13. There is no doubt that the international trade and financial regime as formulated by the west have now been shown to be disastrous for the world. The US Dollar is no longer stable for use as the benchmark for other currencies. Trading in currencies have now undermined the value of the currencies of the world including the United States. Free trade has resulted in many poor countries becoming unable to export their products and earn foreign exchange. Mergers and acquisitions by giant corporations have created monsters that have killed the small man and created serious social and economic problems for the many countries.

14. While all these disasters are happening Asian countries have either been bystanders or they have tried to struggle for survival. They have not proposed anything original or shown any initiative to overcome these problems. Yet they are in a position to do something not just to mitigate the effect of these Western conceived systems and regimes but to propose entirely new ideas and proposals that can replace the old regimes and usher in a new and fairer World Order.

15. Asians can propose fair trade instead of free trade; the replacement of the US Dollar by a new trading currency, the stoppage of currency trading, replacing it with a new Bretton Woods kind of agreement that can restore stability in the valuation of currencies, imposing limits on mergers and acquisitions and the formulation of an international anti-trust laws etc. etc.

16. I would like to mention a particular effort initiated by Malaysia. The world still accepts that one way of solving conflicts between nations is to kill people and see who can kill the most. This is called war but war is about killing people.

17. In human society killing is a serious crime meriting the most severe punishment. Yet killing thousands of people in a war is not considered a crime. This is absurd. You must not kill one person but you can kill hundreds of thousands.

18. Malaysia is trying to make killing people in war as much a crime as murder in any human society. This is to be a total change in human values. Whoever initiates wars must be condemned as criminal killers and must be punished by the international community.

19. Asia can back this effort by Malaysia. This can be a major initiative by Asia. If Asia succeeds in stopping the killings, in making war a crime, it will mark a powerful contribution of Asia to human civilisation. It will mean that the human race has become truly civilised.

Isu Karpal : BBPM setuju pandangan Awang Selamat

Isu Karpal: BBPM setuju pandangan Awang Selamat

Utusan Malaysia, 3 Mei 2008

Karpal Singh had acted way out of line when he slandered Sultan Perak. He should be charged in court for questioning the powers of the Sultan.

Why is it now that other races have the nerve to question things they never dared to before in the years of Tun Dr Mahathir's administration?

It shows that the current administration is to lenient and weak.

Ezam hopping to Umno like a ‘frog’

PETALING JAYA: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has described the move by former Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Youth chief Mohamad Ezam Mohd Nor to rejoin Umno as that of a "frog".

The former prime minister said it was not impossible for Ezam to do it again as he had left Umno before and joined PKR.

However, Ezam had been expelled from Umno in 1998 when Dr Mahathir was party president.

Dr Mahathir also believed that Ezam could be a "stepping stone" for PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to rejoin Umno.

"Anwar uses Ezam to rejoin Umno because he (Anwar) is aware that one of the ways he could become prime minister is to have Umno support," he said at the "Suntikan Semangat Satria" (Injecting Hero Spirit) programme yesterday.

"As such, whatever means to get Umno support will be done by Anwar."

"Therefore, be careful when Ezam jumps into Umno."

On his son, Datuk Mukhriz (MP for Jerlun) becoming more outspoken of late, Dr Mahathir said: "If politicians can criticise before, why not now?"

On the call from Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob to his other son, Datuk Mokhzani, to resign as Sepang International Circuit chairman, Dr Mahathir said: "If I am in his position, I will not resign. I will only step down on my own accord without coercion because I prefer to be booted out."

Present were Umno Youth executive council member Datuk Sazmi Miah, MP for Pasir Mas Datuk Ibrahim Ali and former BN Backbencher's Club chairman Datuk Ruhanie Ahmad. -- Bernama

Although Islam tells us to think well of others, we have to spare some percentages for doubt since we are well aware of what Ezam had been before this.

Is that a portal for the next general election?

Well, I have found a newly created portal that seems to support the government too. I think that it supports UMNO since most of the articles there answers back what has been told by the opposition.

www.isuhot.com

You guys could even register there and post comments on the forum, even submit your own articles there.

Now on the latest news that Malaysia is blacklisted by US as one of the human trafficking offenders. That is way out of line. They have no right to do that. Well, we all know that US have malice towards Malaysia right from the moment that their so called agent was oust from his position of DPM. That is my personal view. Maybe even before that since Malaysia is the most modern and developed Muslim country and Tun Dr Mahathir is the most vocal of all to voice his dissatisfaction towards the biased treatment of the West towards other oppressed Muslim countries all around the world.

All religion preaches to its followers to do good things in life. Therefore, it is not right to associate Islam with aggression and terrorism as it is the individuals action that did that. It is not preached by Islam. Islam only preaches its followers to protect themselves is ever they are attacked by enemies.

What about the Ku Klux Klan in America? They are extremists too. In the Wikipedia, they are termed as the name of several past and present organisations in the United States that have advocated white supremacy, antisemitism, racism, anti-Catolicism, homophobia and nativism. These organisations have often used terrorism, violence and acts of intimidation such as cross burning to opress African Americans and other groups.

So they too are extremists? But why doesn't anyone associate them with the Christian religion. This is basically biased from the West towards the Islamic religion.
